COPYRIGHT POLICY
By accessing Colson Printing’s website, you are representing that you have full right to use the photos, graphics, copy, and design in your files without infringing any property rights of third parties. You also acknowledge that subject matter does not have to bear a copyright notice in order to be protected by copyright law, so absence of such notice does not necessarily assure a right to reproduce. You further promise that no copyright notice has been removed from any material used in preparing your project for reproduction. You agree to indemnify and hold Colson Printing and our affiliates, agents, business partners or employees harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made by any third party due to or arising out of content you submit, or transmit through our website.
PRIVACY POLICY
No information we collect for order processing or any other inquiries is shared with any other company or website. Your information is only used to contact you when necessary, to provide order updates or special offers. Credit Card information is only used to bill you for the products and services you have ordered. Your order is submitted and retrieved over a secure connection and remains secure at all times.
PROOFING
For any of our products you have the option of selecting PDF proofs. Please know that we cannot guarantee a color match to the pdf proof you see on your monitor or print on your printer. This is due to variations in individual monitor calibration, ink, media and/or mechanical characteristics of desktop printers, lighting conditions and environmental variations from print industry standards. We will, at your request, submit a hard copy proof (Epson Digital Proof) for an additional cost. We will guarantee a very close color match to the hard copy proof. Hard copy proofs must be signed and returned to Colson Printing before printing. If you need to keep the proof, contact us for the cost of additional proofs for our pressmen and records.
MAILING SERVICES - All estimates for mailing services are for a single mailing. Payment for postage will be made to the U.S. Postmaster – Valdosta, GA via cashier’s or certified check. Failure to submit certified funds payable to the U.S. Postmaster and received at Colson Printing in advance of the mail date will delay the mailing. Mailing files should be sent 5 -7 days prior to the mailing date so we can notify you of the postage amount and you can send the correct amount of funds. Mailing estimates are based on a single CSV or Excel file. If you need help with your mailing files please contact us. We have experience people ready to make your next project a success.
GRAPHIC DESIGN SERVICES - Estimates are based upon text, digital photos, digital artwork (logos,maps,charts) being supplied by the customer. A mock-up is required from you to give us clear instructions. Colson will design your print project and provide a PDF proof. Prices quoted includes two minor revisions. If more revisions are necessary we will bill you at our standard rate of $ 60 per hour plus additional proofs. Orders canceled during this phase will be billed $ 60 per hour plus any and all proofs incurred during this time. Please know it is our goal please you with our designs and keep you returning with more projects in the future.
GUARANTEE
At Colson Printing, we are dedicated to your satisfaction. If for any reason you are not satisfied with our work, please contact us and we will do our best to correct the problem. You have the option to ask for a refund, reprint or credit due to errors in the printing process, and we will promptly correct the problem to your satisfaction. We want you to be completely satisfied with our printing, and we keep our clients coming back through service and integrity.
TERMS
Our guarantee does not apply to customer errors in supplied files, including but not limited to low resolution photos and graphics, missing fonts, incorrect file format or page layout, or non-compliance with postal regulations/restrictions. Please check your proof carefully; Printing Trade Custom relieves us of responsibility if the job is printed per customer’s approval. There will be no additional charges made if errors were made by us in generating your proof.
If corrections are needed, your options are:
1) To submit a new file (Minimum charge - $ 35)
or
2) Have our prepress make minor corrections to your manipulatable files.
Our prepress costs are $60 per hour with minimum charge of $35.
***Additional proofing charges will be incurred for either option if Epson Digital Proofs were requested. Your CSR
will notify you before additional proofs are made and any additional charges are added to your account. Proofing
charges are as follows. Minimum size 8.5x11 - $ 10 per side of form or per page. 11x17 - $ 20, 17x22 - $ 40, 11x25.5 - $ 45, 24x36 - $ 80. These charges do not include shipping the proofs for your approval. Shipping charges will be billed at cost.
PAYMENT / TIME FRAME
We will charge your credit card when we receive your order. When the order is ready to ship and if there are additional charges such as changes or shipping fees, we will charge your credit card for the balance. If you would like to pay by check please contact us. We also except open accounts with credit approval. We do not accept C.O.D. orders.
Turnaround time will begin after you have signed off on the final PDF proofs or after you have returned the signed Epson Digital Proofs. Turnaround time is based on “business working days”; weekends and holidays are not included, so please plan accordingly. Your expected delivery date may be adjusted due to unforeseen delays, such as equipment failure, illness or other unavoidable issues. We will inform you immediately if such a delay results in a delay of your project.
OVERRUN AND UNDERRUN POLICY
Due to the complexity of the printing and binding processes of Colson Printing, we cannot guarantee that every order will be the exact number of items that are ordered. Colson Printing can only guarantee that it will come within plus or minus 10% of the number of items ordered. It is our goal to give you exactly what you order and you will not be charged for overruns. If your project involves mailing, please make sure you order a minimum of 50 or 5% over the amount to be mailed.
